Although white kitchens continue to be classic options, these spaces will no longer be boring. So expect kitchens with bright and pop colours, with metallic finishes for appliances. Storage space and ventilation will be of top priority, and the area around sinks will be better utilised. Instead of granite, materials such as quartz will be used for countertops, as the latter is easier to maintain and has a shimmering, timeless appeal. Stoves, cooktops and chimneys will don the brightest of bright colours in the coming season.
